Personally, I've never been one to tackle even the simplest of repairs.  If and when I do, it ends up costing me twice my budget.  I've since learned, it doesn't pay to cut back on house maintenance services.  What I like about the Amazon is the fact that their professionals don't mark-up the equipment needed to do the job.  You buy the equipment and they simply install or repair it.  There are entirely too many contractors out there who will double the cost of products to make a profit.  You then get roped in by their low labor costs when, in actuality, they've made their profit through the products you've paid double for!  The way around that is to shop Amazon for your product (garage door opener, blinds, carbon monoxide detector, etc...) and THEN make an appointment with an Amazon house maintenance handyman to do the job.  I've read the reviews and they are AMAZING!
